When was the last time you fixed something instead of buying new, and how did that make you feel?

I have always preferred to fix what I have regardless of whether or not I can afford to replace it. Having been impoverished for a decade due to disability, I rarely have the option to buy anything new.

It feels good to do stuff on your own. Independent work without depending too much on other companies.

I try my best to fix things that can be fixed because in todays economy it’s hard to afford anything let alone replace things you already have.
